Above is the most Holy Image of Rincewind, Patron Saint of the Timid.
Rincewind was a sweet hedgehog who, as saints tend to, grew up in shabby conditions, brought happiness to many, and died tragically of common illness. Named for a master of nervousness (see Rincewind of the Discworld), the saint never ceased to display the all important Hedgehog qualities of shyness and caution. The spirit of Saint Rincewind lives on to inspire all Hedgehogs who shiver in their spiny balls and snuffle fearfully in the darkness.
Saint Rincewind is the first True Saint of the Hedgehog. For this reason, the Shrine is dedicated to him. For a secular biography of the Saint, visit A Memorial to a Timid Hedgehog.
